The training begins.

Just before Korea was announced I'd begun the big job of migrating everything from my daily PC (8700k/3080Ti) to my sim PC (13900k/4090). After it was announced I reinstalled DCS and with Andre's help got SimShaker for Aviators back up and running.
And wtf, the output from that to DCS is through the floor; as in, it nearly put a hole through it. IL2 on SimShaker Wings, I have to crank the amp volume almost to max. No idea what's going on there.

I ordered desk-mounts from virpil for the throttle and panels, then changed my plan for floor-mounting the stick and ordered the desk-mount for that too. The first order is here and fitted, the stick stuff is coming tomorrow.

Once I've got all the Virpil stuff configured with its software I'll be back in the Mig15 and hopefully taking it online again. I've not checked pings on US servers, pretty sure there won't be any in Japan but hey ho, wish me luck fellas.
