Mandoble Posted June 28, 2024 Posted June 28, 2024 My case, absolutely ran out of buttons, but I still have several axis free to map, for example, stab switch up/down for planes like 190s. And yes, might be the original 190 had no axis to do this, but I'm pretty sure it also hadn't a keyboard to press RCrlt and down/up arrow.
Charon Posted June 28, 2024 Posted June 28, 2024 You can configure this with Joystick Gremlin. For instance, I do this to turn the paddle on my TWCS throttle into a pair of buttons. 1 1
Hook_Echo Posted June 29, 2024 Posted June 29, 2024 Yep. Joystick gremlin. In the 190 I have the flaps on an axis lever. I have it set up where the lever at half position is take off flap setting, and if I move the lever all the way it goes to full flaps. You cannot make the stabilizer work like an axis on the fw 190 though, at least that I have found. I do however have a rotary encoder that I wrote a macro for in Joystick Gremlin that works pretty well. One click of the encoder and it changes as fine adjust as possible, and if I give it a spin it will make very large adjustments. 1
Mandoble Posted June 29, 2024 Author Posted June 29, 2024 Thanks gents, actually I have TM TARGET, similar to Gremlin, but I'd prefer to have it supported within the game than using external programs. As an example, I don't need to use TARGET at all with DCS because this feature is natively supported by the game. 1
