Hi all! After last update that brings total capability of moderns periphericals, my winwing is unable to use three positions switches: up ans down position is red by software as same button and center position as other so i can't switch properly. As example, flaps triple switch has not the ability to make up/neutral/down...only up/down....

Is this a normal behaviour? Can devs says something about this?

Interested on the topic too, I just got a winwing hotas this week, and in the process of binding everything I also noticed this, since I never used such equipment before I was unaware it is an issue.

I would recommend using a tool such as Joystick Gremlin, as I did in this post. Only use the Winwing software for basic hardware config.

I've briefly looked at the Winwing software for DCS, but find it unintuitive.

The Winwing software is fine for running the hardware, but the way il2 reads the key presses has problems: 1. it reads a continuously "down" key as repeated key presses that flood the buffer; 2. it seems to read the keys pretty slowly, often not registering a change until another has happened, or losing it altogether.

The solution to problem 1 is to use JG macros to send momentary key presses except for ones like flaps where some aircraft require the constant key presses.

I've not yet used the middle key of the tri-stable switches, but I suspect you can if you insert some delays (particularly for "modifier" keys) to get il2 to read them reliably.

I'd also recommend deleting the centre dead zone on the joystick and then recalibrating. It all becomes amazingly accurate after that.

PS i just found out that with Streamdeck set to "Run as Administrator" screws up IL-2 Input from 3rd party devices and PC keyboard & Mouse sometimes..

Tried Joystick Gremlin, but it's interface is quite complicate and difficult to figure things out to get right.

Just switched from Warthog to Winwing and I have the same problem.

All three-way switches are not reporting correctly its directX assign, so I can not use them.

Any news about a fix for it in the game, not using an external app?
