Aapje Posted July 4, 2024 Author Posted July 4, 2024 None of the bases overheat, but they can go into overheat protection, which is not great. I want to see when that kicks in for the Moza and what it does. 1
FTC_Mephisto Posted October 23, 2024 Posted October 23, 2024 Any recommendations for setting to be used with Il-2 BoX?
Panzerlang Posted October 24, 2024 Posted October 24, 2024 Gawd knows how long it'll be until they produce a Japan-spec one. 7 hours ago, FTC_Mephisto said: Any recommendations for setting to be used with Il-2 BoX? Go with the defaults and fine-tune it from there. And send them an email, asking for some IL2 lurv.
IRRE_Nyechou Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 did someone managed to set the telemetry in IL2 ? i have some feedback but its only direct input i guess. I've set the same port as my jetseat but it doesnt want to "set" in moza software . 1

I'm wondering if the issue is because I have it in my Steam folder but some modules I've bought direct from the developers website.

Me too (LOL) I can get the DCS icon to "config" but not il-2 I've tried C:/Games/IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles and C:/Games/IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles/bin/game and I have tried the same port number as my rumble seat, nada sigh
Aapje Posted March 14 Author Posted March 14 The latest firmware has IL-2 support and some people are reporting it works well with ground effects turned off.
Aapje Posted July 27 Author Posted July 27 How to make the brake lever work as an axis if you use a Virpil Alpha grip with the Moza base: Open the game and try to assign the brake lever on the grip to the wheel brakes key mapping. It will assign button 31 instead of the axis. Save this assignment. Remember the id of the joystick that is listed as part of your button assignment. Something like joy0, joy1, etc. This is the ID of the Moza joystick. Quit the game and open data\input\global.actions in a text editor Find 'rpc_wheel_brakes' One of the assignments is going to be for button 31 and the joystick id that you remember from step 2. So if that ID is zero, then the assignment would be joy0_b31. Change this assignment by replacing the 'b31' part with 'axis_q'. So then it would look something like: joy0_axis_q Start the game and open the key assignment. Click on the axis curve icon next to the wheel brake assignment and pull the brake lever on the Virpil grip. You should see the axis move in game. Profit Play PS. Probably works with other Virpil grips, but no guarantees PS2. You need to have the brake lever calibrated in Moza Cockpit
