Plane profiles

Having answered so many times the question about trim and stabilizers, I wonder if the individual planes' profiles could not automatically remove all choices that do not apply--i.e. no elevator trim assignments, only stabilizer assignments for the Bf-109? It would save many new players a lot of heartache.
