Trim switch up and trim switch down, assigned buttons don't work.

The default key stroke works , trim moves up or down,  but assigned buttons do not work, tried 3 different controllers, assign a button and don't work in game.

Any ideas?

Given' you're talkin' about "up or down", I assume you're talkin' 'bout elevator trim.

Some planes, like BF 109's and FW 190's had stabilizer trim, which works like elevator trim but the whole surface of the elevator moves instead of just some tabs.

You use separate controls for that in game.

I forgot the default and you can go into controls to assign your own preferences.
