Stuck on IL2 loading screen help

I’m suddenly getting stuck on the IL2 loading screen and the game won’t start up. Has anyone else experienced this?

 

I updated opencomposite as I noticed a prompt to update to the latest version. Other than that, nothing has changed.

 

Playing on Quest 3, link cable, opencomposite with OpenXR toolkit.

 

once I connect to QuestLink, i click on the IL2 icon in the VR headset and the IL2 loading screen (blue box with front view of plane) just gets stuck. When I try to start via steam and click Play, it will change back to the default and nothing happens.

Don't update OpenComposite, 2 days ago i have the same problem with my Reberb G2 and besides unistall the whole thing , nothing works, i have to do a Windows Restore point to a day backwards.

Please dont update Open Composite, if somebody can adress this problem with more information please do it.

Yeah mate

That sucks alot, i was updating Open Composite for an Xplane 11 error, and late try IL-2 and ''Voila'' .. I ruin the simulator.

 

I hope some expert on VR can check this problem because is confirmed that Oculus and other VR devices are failing with the new open composite update.

Latest OpenComposite is broken. Scroll to bottom of page for the openvr_api.dll that works.

That DLL file worked and was able to play IL2 with opencomposite.

Had a disaster upgrading also, severe judders and fps up and down.  The very bottom ones restored my smooth as butter game.  Seems like the new crew working on it have other priorities than flight sims.

Can someone walk me through this please?  I’ve tried to download open composite from the link above about 1000 times and I just can’t get the game to load.

Im having the same issue again, tried the dll but it didnt work for me either.

What error code are you getting?

No error code just gets stuck on the loading screen in VR and on the desktop Il2 starts then just stops, same as happened a few weeks back to a few of us, the fix was to copy in an old openvr_api.dll file but that didn't work this time. I seem to have the same problem when switching back to steam VR, Il2 starts then just drops out, this began after updating open composite

I am having the same problem.All worked great yesterday,now IL2 will not load in VR.Really frustrating.
