I've never been in a tank and believe they weigh 50 tons + / - .
They have tracks instead of wheels, so they don’t bottom out, and not just to go over things but to dig in for positive movement.

I’m not in deep mud or ice covered roads but going up hills, is it normal that I have to snake up the hill on dry ground.

I’m not climbing up mountains but many of the hills to get to the top I need to move like a snake, side to side.
I though Tanks had better traction than that.

Any thoughts

A lot of those old tanks had fairly simple transmissions that lacked torque. There is a reason why proper offroad vehicles tend to have a high torque mode on their transmission.

The Churchill had a more complicated transmission which made it a great climber. I don't know whether this is modelled correctly in Tank Crew.

Yes, everything is modeled for all of the vehicles. The parameters are set in vehicle specific text files located in Data\luascripts\worldobjects\vehicles.

I thank you both for your responses.

Thank You,

Good morning,
It's strange, I don't have a vehicles directory in Data\LuaScripts\worldobjects
