Arioch_RN Posted May 30, 2024 Posted May 30, 2024 I was having a practise flight in a Spitfire today, took off from Manston and made my way down the coast - once I got to around Eastbourne I noticed that town buildings didn’t seem to be present anymore. Trees, radar stations and airbases were still present but any other buildings failed to render in. This was most noticeable once I reached Portsmouth. I restarted the freeflight above Pompey and it was all back as it should be - flying east up the coast I managed to get to Hastings before the buildings ran out again. Is this expected behaviour for buildings to only be within a certain radius of the start position? (i7 11700, RTX 4070ti, 32GB, Quest 3)

firdimigdi Posted June 1, 2024 Posted June 1, 2024 It's adjustable in the game's settings under Settings > Game > Map Scenery Distance; set it to umlimited and buildings will be added to the whole map. 2

Awesome, I’ll give that a try 👍 Edit: just been for a jolly along the south coast and all cities/towns were present and correct. Many thanks for the pointer towards the setting I’d missed 👍 Edited June 9, 2024 by Arioch_RN
