A20 low level career

Hi all, Please feel free to move this if it is in the wrong section.

I am looking to start a career in the A20, but specifically looking to join a squadron that does low level missions. Was hoping someone here could point me to a place where I can do this.

I normally play careers with fighter planes however I am looking for something a bit different and always loved the footage on youtube of A20's doing low level runs.

Thank you.

I've just picked up the scripted campaign Havoc over the Kuban. I've played half the missions; it's definitely low-level bombing. And it's also a great campaign. It's worth a try. I don't know about the career units using it for low-level bombing.

Ill give it a shot, thank you. Normally like the career mode more than scripted campaigns, however for a bomber and this specific itch scripted might just be the way to go.

Scripted campaigns always felt more real to me, as they often have a lot more details added, like frontline fighting and other things going on. The missions themselves don't feel so generic.

One big point of scripted campaigns is many missions starting cold and dark and taxiing to the runway.

That gives the missions much more feeling of reality. Start cold and dark is a really missed feature in career mode.

Aye, except in some cases (USAF) the ground crew generally started the engine etc.

Yes, all A-20 careers are regular bomber-type missions, so Gambit's campaign is your best option for low-level work.

Would it work to fly as squadron commander and move the waypoints down to low level?

Yes, that would probably work.

Now I have no choice but to try it out. 😁

Thanks to everyone for all the responses.

I realise that this is a bit of a thread necro, but I just wanted to say thank you. I got the campaign and it was probably some of the best fun I've had in this game. Thank you again.

For what it is worth, if anyone is on the fence about getting this campaign, I can highly recommend getting it.

Glad you enjoyed it.

The entire point of it really is low level, in the weeds ground attack. :)
