Heh, all those extra guns and you still can't get him. I got a kill with 4 rounds the other day. I suppose that balances it out. I think the game was a bit rude to you, could be desynch/packet loss perhaps

Could be you are hitting around the cockpit but not the pilot.  I had the same thing happen last week.  Thought I was blasting the pilot but finally ended up sawing his wings off.  Checking the FR in slow motion, the sim was right.  I missed.

The pilot wasn't even killed when his plane crashed. There wasn't any fire either.

A lot of your shooting was hitting the center section and going ahead of the engine. It's a shame that your Lewis guns decideed to reload when you had that perfect long, tracking kill shot. I saw a few rounds go into the cockpit though, good enough shooting for a Queenslander I suppose.

Leather underwear and scarf is the key. Pilot may have had a large leather wallet with many receipts and notes in it as well.

The balls on that pilot are modeled way to big and they are steel. It's ridiculous that  team 1C won't have another look at them, but it is what is.
