3DVision and convergence

I am still using 3DVision (I prefer it to VR for several reasons), and I find it so nice and immersive that I simply don't play IL2 if it is not in 3D. I think there is some people here that still uses it, I have thus some questions for you:

I know that lefuneste did some patches (before making VR mods), but I would like to know if they are still needed for you (and which is the last one). In the current version and in my rig, it seems to work fine without need of any patch...
Another thing, is that although it seems to works fine, convergence is locked. This is a real pity, Is not bad, but I would prefer to adjust it to my taste and screen size, etc, I prefer less separation and more convergence. Could you confirm if it is the same for you? If so, is there a way to unlock it?

Nobody is using 3DVision? I thought that SR603-Flowbee use still 3DVision if I am not worng (and Lefuneste?). Nobody could confirm this point, please?
