Lost Features After Update

This is for IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover Blitz/Desert Wings Tobruk.

 

Quite some time ago there was a large update that caused a lot of problems i.e., land sinking into the waters. At the same time, I lost a couple of features that I really enjoyed but have not been able to restore.

 

The first feature missing is the FPS counter. It was a small counter, it was non-intrusive and could be in located in any of the four corners of my monitor of my choosing. I've checked my Steam settings, and as far as I'm able to determine, everything is set as it should be but there is no FPS counter in game-play (see attachment FPS Counter Settings). I've tried the in-game FPS counter but it is large and intrusive and sit at the top centre of my screen obscuring server messages that have bee allocated to that spot. There appears to be no option to relocate the display or make it smaller (less intrusive).

 

The second feature missing is the ability to take ScreenShots. Prior to the update, I could simply depress the key mapped for taking screenshots and there would be a "click" and a sound of a camera advancing a roll of film, there would be a brief thumbnail view of the screenshot taken, then when exiting the game a pop-up menu would be displayed that would ask me what I want to do with all the screenshots I took during my recent game session. I could designate a folder and my screenshots would be deposited there as jpegs. Now when I press he key mapped for taking screenshots, there is no indication that I've taken a screenshot. When I conclude my gaming session, there is no pop-up menu asking me about my screenshots. And when I go to the screenshot folder in the game file structure, I see my screenshots there but they are in .bmp form. I've checked my Steam settings, and as far as I'm able to determine, everything is set as it should be but there are no indications of screenshots being taken during game-play (see attachment ScreenShots Settings)

 

Any advice that you can offer to restore these features will be greatly appreciated.
