Menus far away and off view

Every now and then when starting up IL2 in VR I get the start menu in different places, sometime what feels a meter above my head, sometime in the back of me and somtimes in front of my nose. It doesn't matter if I reset the view with the VR hand controls, nothing in IL2 is changing.

 

is it possible to reset the main Menu view in IL2?

Make sure the Il-2 window is the focus and hit the Num Pad 5 key, that will fix it prior to hitting the green log in button.  After you hit the log in the VR center key takes over.  Depending on headset it could be the windows environment causing the misalignment, you can try resetting that, might make things better.

I have that "Numpad 5" on my joystick, as I use that button a lot.
