Hello Viper, after seeing Your great work of Art on the Skins again, a Wish grew, can You please make several Skins for me? I understand if its too much, or there´s no Time.

Back to my idea, i like to have Replacements for D-Day Skins for the A-20 / B-25 / B-26 / P-47 / P-51 

this means no special Skins, no need for Historical Accuracy, You can go Wild as You Wish, just Your shiny Silver, with some red Applications, Invasion Stripes and No Codes, so the Game can use is own Codes. Here are some suggestions to get my Idea. Thanks for Your Time.

Hey PivoYvo! You have to give me some time on this one. The P-38, P-47 and P-51... no big deal, but for the A-20 / B-25 / B-26 I need to get the templates and start from scratch. So, as you can probably imagine it's going to take a bit of work and time. How soon do you need all of these "birds"?

 

Downloaded the Templates for the A-20 / B-25 / B-26, I sure hope you're in no rush on this 😉

With the Bombers You maybe get problems, at least the b-25 is hard to make in shiny Silver without looking just Grey, i think i read this somewhere. As said You have whatever Time You need, im just happy that it gets done.

However... I use the 'quick start' to look at the planes in game and take screenshots. Since only Fighter/Pursuit and Attack AC's can be selected (quick start) I won't be able to take any sceenshots of the B-25D Mitchell and/or the B-26B Marauder. Unless I've missed something...

So, what do you want me to do regarding the 'bombers'?

Sure I can look at them in the Skin Viewer, but that's not optimal.

   Hey Viper!

 

   Thanks for all of your wonderful skins! You can load up a quick start mission with the AI bombers as the enemy (make sure that you pick your new skins from the custom category). Once the mission starts, you can view your new skins by hitting Ctrl+F2 and manipulating the angles with the mouse just like you would do normally. The commands haven't changed a whole lot since the original Il-2 sim.

Hello Viper.

The Bombers please should, also have a D-Day, Silver, Red Applications, (for example red motor gondola) Finish, just like the Fighters You did, as i said the B-25 will be a challenge to give it a shiny Silver. there is a B-25 "Hot Bomb" and "Lady Luck" (Sorry can´t find them on this site) which had a good start trying a silver Finish.

Viper,

      Really love your Mustangs.  Do you think you could do some of the 332nd's P-51 B/C's, namely those of the 99th FS?  I'd prefer that any nose art and tactical numbering not be shown on your skins so as to utilize the tactical numbering in the game.  I can provide some references if needed.

     Well the only ones I'm interested in are those from the 99th FS, so the P-51 D "Meat Ball Rap" A35 and A13.  If possible just with the colors as shown but with no tactical marking and for both the B&C and D models.   I really appreciate your help as I know nothing about skinning!

     Again thank you for the skins of the 99th FS 332FG.  Not knowing your schedule of working on other skins, but if you have the time would you consider making skins of other 3 FS of the 332FG, i.e., the 100th, the 301st and the 302nd.  The format would be similar to that which you did for the 99FS, i.e., both the P-51 B/C and P-51 D.
