Hi guys! I'm sorry, but I've made a BIG NO NO... the prob hub is suppose to be black-ish and yellow... NOT black-ish and red as seen here! I'll fix that ASAP, until I've uploaded the correct "skin" the files will not be available. I'm sorry about this!

So, another day another girl ;) Request from Pappy2... here's 'Atlanta Peach', a P-51B-10-NA.

Flown by Lt. William B.King, the 355th Fighter Squadron, 354th Fighter Group, 9th AF (Assigned to 374FS, 361FG, 8AF USAAF. Transferred to 355FS, 354FG, 8AF USAAF). Was he transferred from the 9th AF to the 8th AF or the other way around... anyway, this is the info I bothered to look up. Regarding the color of the Atlanta Peach letters... well, all I had to go on are black and white pics so I dared to use some artistic freedom and made the letter shadows the same color as the peach. If anyone know the correct color (if this ain't it) please let me know. As the screenshots show, there's two versions... :)

A HUGE THANK YOU to “III/JG53*Viperfor his artistic work.

Being able, thanks to simulation and especially thanks to the extraordinary work of our skinners, to bring to light the almost forgotten life of a pilot, who participated in the liberation of my country 80 years ago, makes me say that I am proud of all the heroes who are now gone will not be forgotten.

Hi... it's me again. Another request from pappy2, a P-51D-5-NA '129' of Lt Col Charles H. Older's 'Yokahama-Yardbird' 23rd FG

Born in 1917, Charles Herman "Chuck" OLDER studied at the University of California until 1939 and obtained a degree in political science.
He enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserve and did his pilot training in Pensacola.
Promoted to 1st Lieutenant after obtaining his wings on April 1, 1940, he was assigned to VMF 1 from May 1940 to July 1941 when he resigned to join the AVG (American Volunteer Group) in Burma.
Arriving there, he joined the 3rd Pursuit Squadron “Hell’s Angels” as Wingman.
At the end of the first two combats led by the AVG, Older had already acquired Ace status by shooting down 2 and 3 Japanese planes respectively on December 23 and 25, 1941.
Having become Flight Leader, he obtained 11 victories with the Flying Tigers before its dissolution on July 4, 1942.

After the dissolution, he signed his re-enlistment in the USAAF and after staying in the United States, he returned to China in 1944. Since leaving the AVG, he has completed 255 hours of flight.
At the end of the war, promoted to Ltn Colonel, he joined the 23rd Fighter Group and served as operations officer and deputy group commander.
He led the first attack against Japanese forces based in Shanghai, a mission during which 16 Mustangs destroyed 72 Japanese aircraft without loss. He takes an active part in the fights and increases his score to 19 victories, including 2 in collaboration, which makes him a "TRIPLE ACE".

Entering the reserve, in 1950, he was recalled to active service, during the Korean War, he was required to carry out missions on B-26 and as such will undoubtedly be the only former AVG Ace to participate to conflict after 1945.

The P-51D “Yokohama Yardbird” flown by Lieutenant Colonel Charles OLDER at Luliang, China, in the spring of 1945.
This is the aircraft of the deputy commander of the 23rd Fighter Group with the three squadron colors in bands around the fuselage and the insignia of the 23rd FG on both sides.

Copy that! I've figured as much, but I told Vamandrac to wait for approval... if there's anything that needs to be removed/added or otherwise changed  regarding the 'skin'.

P-51D Mustang "Detroit Miss", 2Lt. Urban Drew, 375th FS, 361st FG, 1944
Urban "Ben" Drew was credited with 6 aerial victories, including two German Me 262 jets shot down on 7 October 1944.
He was the first American pilot to down two jets in aerial combat and received the Air Force Cross for this action.

And "Double Trouble 2" has been updated... again. Btw, It's the +IS (Invasion Stripes) version that's updated.

I'm going to update "Sweetie Face", I forgot to do this: The gun pods on Sweetie Face appear to be darker than the surrounding parts of the wing. It’s possible they were painted orange, similar to THIS airplane: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/9/98/P-51_Mustang_42-106703_Snoot's_Sniper_FRE_006033.jpg/2880px-P-51_Mustang_42-106703_Snoot's_Sniper_FRE_006033.jpg
