Gobnik20 Posted May 5, 2024 Posted May 5, 2024 I know that the war in general wasn't won in the sky in both Western and Eastern front, but I wanted to know if in PWCG, does my ground attack sortie or decisive air victory have a visual impact on the front in anyway? Or is it strictly historical? I know it dynamicaly affects air sorties but I want to know how it impacts the ground war and the frontline. Thanks in advance!
PatrickAWlson Posted May 5, 2024 Posted May 5, 2024 It moves based on historical movement starting in April 1918. The reason for this limitation is the maps. From the start of the air war until April 1918 warfare was mostly static trench warfare. We do not have all of the movements in trench lines on our map so I keep it static. In April 1918 there is real movement and I want players to feel that shift, so I begin moving lines then.

PatrickAWlson Posted May 5, 2024 Posted May 5, 2024 Easier answer - the movement is semi historic. The shape of the lines is more or less correct. The distances are shortened. Still, it does not move based on player actions. 1
