Been a while since I loaded up TC, but I know the last time I played there were crew voices.

When your gunner takes over control, he calls out the target he is going to shoot at, with direction and distance. Major problem here is, he often shoots at targets, which are completely uninteresting, like trucks on your side, although you have tanks and/or AT guns ahead. I guess he attacks the closest target.

If you aren't hearing crew voices it may be because you are driving an Allied tank "flagged" with a nationality other than USSR, for example a US Sherman or British Churchill. Crews of these nations aren't modeled so therefore you won't hear voices when you are crewing them.
