=KG76=flyus747 Posted April 30, 2024 Posted April 30, 2024 Have it where every 2s real time equals 1m in game etc...
IckyATLAS Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 You cannot. Time is 1 to 1. You have the speed up multiplier in game, but it will basically work only if you have spare power and your mission is not too heavy. You may be able to accelerate by 1.5x or 2x max. You cannot program a time multiplier in a mission. The ratio will stay 1:1. YOu can check it on a watch in the cockpit as you fly and the one on your wrist. The only thing that may happen during gameplay is that you get time dilation if the mission is very loaded takes up too many resources with a CPU/GPU of the lower tier. This means that 1 second in game takes 1.5 seconds in real time or more. This means that the game slows down, planes fly slower, trains move slower, ships move slower (visually) etc. In your mission things will go correctly but clocks will slow. As the theory of general relativity on gravitation tells us, the only way to speed up the clocks is to reduce the gravity which means the mass of the code active at any given moment to reduce resources.

I didn’t know Einstein played flight sims but if that is the case, maybe you could simply put your plane into a steep dive every time that you want to speed up time. The free fall effect would make it appear you are in a zero gravity environment, therefore increasing the speed of time proportionally to your dive speed relative to the speed of light. 2 1
