kraut1 Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 Hi All, BF109-G6 ASM: For which reason you can select the ASM Engine (withMW50) but without the MW50 Liquid? Or is this combination of modifications only to simulate historical situations when the MW50 mixture was not available? Many Thanks in advance!
1CGS LukeFF Posted April 29, 2024 1CGS Posted April 29, 2024 MW 50 wasn't in common use until about the summer of 1944, so most G-6/AS planes beforehand would not have been fitted with it. Same deal with the G-6 Late - you can fly it with or without MW 50. 2 1
Roland_HUNter Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 And your plane is 63 kg lighter. (weight of the liquid in MW-50 System tank ) MW-50 system is 84 kg. 21 kg the tank, and 63kg the liquid. That's a lot for a light fighter. (almost 2x50kg bombs) 1
