Boat kills not showing in Mission Results

I built a mission to destroy some boats (penicheger) but when I test fly and destroy the boats they are not listed as kills at the end of the mission (in Mission Results).  What am I missing?

 

A similar thing happens when I make bridges the target.  They get destroyed but don't show up as kills.
