Mistake in numeration of the planes in career mode

When in career mode, the numeration of the IA german fighter planes planes of player flight is incorrect. In 8 flight planes for example, the are sometimes two numer 2, two number 3...

It would be perfect if the player kept always the same number too and if the plane numbers were'nt always correlative. I don't know if it's something difficult to do.

Thank you!

Can't do anything about it - every squadron in career mode has to have 40 different numbers, and with the limitation of German codes for fighters, there are unfortunately going to be a lot of repeats.

But when there are flying 8 planes, could not be possible to use 8 different numbers? It tends to use number 2, 3 & 4 two times, when it could use more the numbers 6,7 & 8.

I think it did not happen before, when 8 planes where programmed as a single flight. Now they are programmed as two different flights, but the game doesn't count that the numbers that are already taken by the first flight. I see that the leader of the squadron is marked as the Gruppe leader in german campaigns, and he always uses the << mark, wich is good.

No, this was already before. I made a bug report months ago.

In my career, flying for the I./JG 26, based at Chaumont eu Vexin, on the Normandy map, my flight existed of two times the numbers 1-3

But if I remember it ok, I'm almost sure there was a time when flights of 8 planes always had 8 different numbers.

The mission generator chooses randomly from the list of 40 numbers programmed for each squadron, so that's why it happens. Unfortunately reducing the list to just 9 numbers isn't an option right now.

I only experienced it in one squadron. In all the other squadrons, I was flying so far, everything was fine. But I can't remember anymore, which one it was.
