FeuerFliegen Posted April 6, 2024 Posted April 6, 2024 I noticed that the P-40's fuel measurement uses UK gallons instead of US gallons. 300L = approximately 63 gallons, indicating UK gallons, whereas I would expect it to read 79.25 gallons Is this accurate? I would assume being that the P-40 is a US made plane, that they would use US gallons for their fuel gauge instead of UK gallons
1CGS LukeFF Posted April 8, 2024 1CGS Posted April 8, 2024 Ah yes, this was a big topic of discussion back when the P-40 was first released. Yes, the P-40 we have is the E-1 export model for RAF usage, so it's fitted with imperial gallon fuel gauges. EDIT: found it: 1
