That's seems a bit high for a DLC plane.

You don't even get guns. I'd pay at most $5.

Throw in a set of mats and an air freshener and I could be interested.

I had a couple of those surplus catalogues as a lad ( car boot sale finds). With some land and a bit of foresight you could have made a fortune over a lifetime.

Go run around the block a few times and I’ll consider it.

We moved when I was 10 to northern Philly, near North Philadelphia airport. It had been an Air Corps training field during the war. There were still a few freshly commercial painted B-17s parked there. This was the early 1960s.

One afternoon in the summer of 1962 a friend and I were in my yard behind my house. Depending on the wind direction, we were occasionally on the flight path.

We started to hear this droning roar I'd never heard before. It kept getting louder. I remember looking up as this huge silhouette cleared the house. It was a B-17 painted in war colors with the name WAR LOVER in red on the underside lower wing.

I assumed that it had something to do with the McQueen movie which had released that year but must have been shot the previous year. I'm not sure exactly what, if any, connection to the film the plane had. Maybe they were selling rides to Steve's fans. But I'll never forget that thing flying over our house. It was so low, and loud, people were sticking their heads out the windows.

Slightly over the median cost of a new home in the USA; or a two bedroom starter home in California.
