Who can I connect my Thrustmaster Joystick to IL 2 Cliffs of Dover

My Thrustmaster don't connect to IL 2 Cliffs of Dover. In IL 2 1946 it is functional. but why it don't connect yet to the joystick?

1) Once you're on steam, both versions, the obsolete version ("IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover") and the currently supported version ("IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover - Blitz") may appear side by side on your Steam Library. So, first of all, make sure you're using the "Blitz" version.

 

2) Choose one port on your computer (I guess your joystick presents a classic type-A USB plug) and plug your joystick in it every time you play the game. If you plug it on a different port you may encounter some trouble.

 

3) Always plug the joystick BEFORE you launch the game.

 

4) Once you are on the game's main menu, click on "Options", then click on "Controls", then assign keys and buttons in the "Keys" and "Axes" tabs (upper left corner).

 

5) Then click on "Apply" (lower right corner).

 

6) Then back to "Controls".

 

7) Then click on "Save As...". You may rename the controls ini file and save a copy for further use, just in case.
