Herbsson Posted March 25, 2024 Posted March 25, 2024 I am currently flying (Halberstadt DII) in November 1916... I find myself encountering DeHavilland 4s (4 months too early, it was introduced in March 1917) and Sopwith Camels (7 months too early, it was introduced in June 1917). In another career (flying the DeHavilland 4) in April 1917, I have encountered Fokker D VIIs (13 months too early, it first appeared on the Front in May 1918). On a side note: In several careers, I have scored in excess of 40 kills (once, over 70) yet I never get any awards after the Iron Cross 1st class. The Pour le Merite was typically, by 1917, awarded after the 20th victory, but I never see this or any other award class after the Iron Crosses.
1CGS LukeFF Posted March 26, 2024 1CGS Posted March 26, 2024 Yes, this will continue to be a thing until the rest of the planned FC planes are brought over from RoF. 18 hours ago, Herbsson said: On a side note: In several careers, I have scored in excess of 40 kills (once, over 70) yet I never get any awards after the Iron Cross 1st class. Yes, you have to be an officer to earn awards above the Iron Cross 1st Class.
KodiakJac Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 @LukeFF Hi Luke, Is the correct period for WWI aircraft fix planned for implementation with FC4? As @Herbsson mentioned above, there are some matchups in which you simply can't catch enemy aircraft. Thanks!
