It is a neat airport to fly to and from. MSFS does a great job there as well.

Sion has a distinct feature, having the ILS beam offset from the runway axis, otherwise the beam would point to a mountain.

MSFS does it the proper way as well:

 

 

This means, doing an ILS on RWY25, you need to have sight of the runway early enough to make the left - right zigzag to line up correctly.

 

There's indeed many big valleys there, and it can happen that even professionals with an airliner land in Aosta (LIMW) instead of Sion... You do make national news then.
