Blitzen Posted March 24, 2024 Posted March 24, 2024 That just about says it all I'm looking for this utility to help set up a new Pico 4E which isn't cooperating...It's mentioned in a Youtube ( set up video but I can't locate same..
ACG_TBird Posted March 24, 2024 Posted March 24, 2024 You may already appreciate this, but the VR Assistant for Pico 4 app is an app for your Apple or Android mobile phone. It is now called 'PICO VR' and is available from the iphone App Store, or on the Google Play Store if you have an Android phone, if you search under that name. It's not essential for the Pico setup, but does make it a bit easier. Let us know if you get stuck further down the line, and I'll see if I can help.

Sorry ,I’m not finding it in mt App Store..I’d appreciate your help.Apparently the 4E model ,being wireless requires a bit of work…
ACG_TBird Posted March 24, 2024 Posted March 24, 2024 Hi Blitzen, they're both wireless, but I hadn't appreciated that you had the Pico 4 Enterprise version. I understand that's designed more for business than games, and I don't know anyone who's got one. The differences are explained at: https://www.picoxr.com/uk/blog/pico4-vs-pico4-enterprise It says that the E version has a different app store from the standard Pico 4, and it's possible that it may not have all the good things, like Virtual desktop, but I don't know. In any event, what model of phone do you want to install the 'PICO VR' app on? I can then see if I can find a link for you, but to be honest I don't even know if that will work for the E version. Is there any way you can return this and get the standard Pico 4? It looks like you're in the US, so that may be difficult, but it seems to be a fraction of the price and is the model that we're all using for PCVR.
Blitzen Posted March 24, 2024 Author Posted March 24, 2024 I was counting n the 4E as it's wireless and has eye tracking.I have an Ipad and IPhone 14.I've tried the icon in the instruction book included in the box but it only gets me to how to installPico4 not 4E.
ACG_TBird Posted March 24, 2024 Posted March 24, 2024 The Pico standard is wireless, too, although I don't think it has useable eye tracking. The app is definitely there on my iPhone App Store if I search for PICO VR .... but it occurs to me that it may not be available in the US if the Pico has not been released in the US? Did your headset not come with setup instructions? I wonder if the Enterprise model has an entirely different setup procedure anyway?
