TempestV Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 (edited) Having a lot of fun with C47A, Li2 (She's GUTLESS! hahaha You want full fuel tanks or full cargo load. You can't have both ?) and the G L I D E R. Not asking for a new model just something to add to the HE111 armaments slot. Couldn't find photos of HE111's dropping paratroopers. But I know I read it somewhere. So I'm not asking for that.? Edited March 21, 2024 by TempestV 2
Juri_JS Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 And droppable supply containers please. He-111s regularly flew missions to supply cut off units. 2 2
Sandmarken Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 (edited) While making the airlift campaign i came across a source that told about he111s dropping "food bombs" to the encircled units in Stalingrad. No pictures but i imagined empty bombs filled with food. (Probably not what it was) but you can turn off the fuse for the bombs (control +s) and pretend they are supplies when dropping them ? Without knowing exactly the details how they have done it back then, but yes that would in theory be possible. Just replace the mini-bombs inside the AB-Container with food or whatever. We however have no AB-containers in the game. AB 250-2 - Wikipedia AB 500-1 - Wikipedia 1

Flying at wavetop level in the middle of night with a 2000kg bomb attached and RAF night fighters everywhere... Great fun ? 2
Charon Posted March 22, 2024 Posted March 22, 2024 (edited) An example of the 111 doing just this: Edited March 22, 2024 by Charon 3

Hi, here a preliminary Container (choose e.g. 4xSC250 for loadout) a SC1000 Container is possible too, hanging under the wings similar as in the video. But due to the smaller diameter with a ugly gap to the plane. But you could activate it by removing the xxx. Of course when this mod is activated all SC250 are containers. To be considered in the mission design. SC250-Container.zip Edited April 27, 2024 by kraut1 1 2
