I am using an HP Reverb G2 with Windows mixed reality and Steam VR. Just recently the in cockpit point of view stopped moving with my head movement. It is like the “limit VR view” option is selected all the time, but it is not. I can turn my head left and right or up and down but I cannot move the point of view forward, backwards, left or right, or lean to the side. Since I cannot move my head in the cockpit, I cannot reset the  head position without moving it with keyboard commands.

Am I missing a new key command that allows free head movement in the cockpit, a software setting somewhere, or have my headset position sensors gone south on me?

Any suggestions would be appreciated, it’s super annoying trying to fly with my head glued to the seat.

I believe I had the same problem you’re describing, and solved it by going to Windows Mixed Reality and resetting the room boundary to a seated position.  (it was set to seated before, but just resetting it again allowed me to regain fore and aft head movement in the cockpit).

Thanks, I’ll give that a shot

Yeah, I used to get that; reset the room boundary. :)

Thanks for the suggestion, but it turns out it was the screen resolution.

A recent update for something (drivers, IL2, Mixed Reality, Steam...?) set my game resolution to 2560x1440 which is my native screen resolution. Changing it to windowed at 1920x1080 solved the tracking issue.
