Is the SC-2500 bomb is a little bit under powered in the game?

Pressure decreases exponentially as the blast wave expands (so more smaller bombs will do more damage than one larger bomb). There are also only so many fragments that can come from the bomb casing. There is a good thread you can find if you search the forums where people were discussing this (and the different types of bomb damage - incendiary, blast, fragmentation, and vibration - which shift in their importance for doing damage as bombs scale-up).

In addition, the bomb craters rendered in game are known to be much too large, by as much as 7x in the case of the SC2500. This gives a misleading impression of the effects they should produce.

 

I don't know why the devs don't fix this, it seems like it would be trivial.
