Housing printed from PETG with Carbon fiber surface look.
Gimbal is 2 part design just like Original Rhino. The upper threaded grip/extension connector is laser sintered from PA12.
This is original VPForce 3D part that also is interchangeable with the Aluminium Upgrade connector from VPForce.

The Grip connector is connected to the lower gimbal with a 20x20x3 aluminium profile.
Motor and electronics are original VPForce Rhino components (DIY kit).

hi Winger and all, I wanted to post my testimonial about Wingers offer and how perfect it worked for me personally  - I contacted him about a month ago and after initial chat on the phone I decided to "order a build of Rhino FFB" from him. Less than three weeks later the base arrived to my doorstep and I've been playing with it for a few days now. 

Packaging of the base was amazingly well done just like the whole 3D prints and assembly. I asked for two fans to be installed in the base and I can say that both are very quiet even after prolonged play sessions.

I want to say that Winger is very easy to communicate with and he explained all the necessary steps (advice on power supply for the base and so on) including the software installation and testing - he also printed covers for the pulley system (as in his first picture) as a cat safety measure

 

I would wholeheartedly recommend Wingers work for other EU based simmers (and wherever it can be sent) - the build quality from the official plans of the Rhino FFB base is really perfect in my opinion and if you are not adept with high complexity DIY builds (as I wasn't even after ordering the FFB motor kit) you can either wait for Walmis and official Rhino or workout a faster schedule with Winger ^^

p.s. The base itself is an immense immersion multiplier for any dogfight experience - the feel and interplay of spring, damper, inertia and friction effects make the base feel like a very precise mechanical-hydraulical base - it's really hard to put into words how good and "precise" the feel of the joystick is (I come from Warbrd base with 75mm extension in the last 4 years)
