Question: To The FW190 Aces

I got two questions about the FW190s

1) Is there a way to fire MG's separate from the 20mms?

Example :

A) Joystick trigger fire all guns

B) Weapon 1 fires MG's and inner 20mms

C) Weapon 2 fires outer wing 20mm/30mms only 

D) Weapon 3 fires nothing

Option: No outer wing cannons

A) Joystick trigger fires all guns 

B) Weapon 1 fires MGs and inner 20mms

C) Weapon 2 fires nothing

D) Weapon 3 fires nothing

 

2) On the FW190 D9 is there a way to override the AUTO Cowl Shutters?

I mapped a key for auto/manual cowl shutters but it is not working.

Not possible, it's the same trigger.

 

Though it would be possible IRL by disabling the MG-17/131 fuse that is easily accessible just to the right of the pilot, so the trigger will only fire the wing root's 20mm cannons (or the small MGs only in case you disable the MG-151s fuse) afaik.

Just put it to 0%, it will open automatically when needed.

I type the wrong question for the Fw190 D-9. I meant the other way around. Is there a way to override the AUTO cowl shutters to manual?

The D-9 series used a system automated by a temperature sensor/controller that drove an actuating ring that in turn opened and closed the cowling flaps.

 

There is no manual control mechanism connected to it.

This indeed would be a great option to have on the FW190A-8 as it was quite common.

Alas, for some reason the option does not exist in Great Battles.

This indeed would be a great option to have on the FW190A-8 as it was quite common.

Alas, for some reason the option does not exist in Great Battles.
