Updater workflow requires ~150gb for a new install

I'm noticing that the launcher is downloading packed versions of the game files, unpacking them all during the download, and then copying them over. Doing the steps concurrently like this is making a new install and updates temporarily take up much more space than necessary.

 

The launcher already has different update phases anyway. Unpacking, verifying, deleting the packed version, and copying over should be done one by one for finished downloads, not concurrently.

 

Also this should really be a separate topic, but the updater is failing to clean up some files after an update sporadically. Across different computers, I see different update files left behind seemingly at random.
