AI Aircraft Crashing Into Eachother

What could be causing this? Started a new campaign in 1942 Stalingrad map as Russia. Flying IL-2 1941. I'm 4th in group. Set to takeoff from runway. As soon as I get ingame, all four aircraft are lined up on runway as you would expect. But then Flight Lead immediately asks for clearance to taxi, turns around and crashes into his wingman. [EDIT] OK...seems I'm not the first to experience this and it may be an IL-2 bug rather than a PWCG bug. I'll post it on the bug forums.

Once it's time to fly it is the AI doing it.  PWCG or any other mission maker is just giving suggestions.
