Future Red Star Fighters?

 Hello

 

 What we know about Red Fighters from 1944 and 1945??, i mean we started in eastern front and now the last for now is  B. of Normandy right after B. of Bondenplatte, so we have bunch of German & Western hardware (wish is great), the last and finest one from 44 and 45 mmmmm, but what about the reds????  

 

 Is it real that we will never have latest red models?

 How is it possible that this sim Il2 there are everything but latest red birds?

 Not in Grate Battles Series and not even in collector planes, so are we condemned to stay under ??

Devs, Some virtual pilots have almost a decade just waiting, we need to know something about.

In the Q&A (pt.1) dev video, they said they plan on adding the Yak-3, La-7, and Ju-87 D-5 if all goes well.

Yak-3P never flew in WW2, so no chance we get it here, but we gona get Yak-3

There are no maps for them.

 

I know some people don't care about historical scenarios and just want to pit fighters against one another (which is perfectly fine but not my cup of tea). However, there are also people who'll never buy a collector aircraft for which historical missions aren't possible. This'll likely hurt sales and hence makes those types less attractive.

 

Still, they intend to make a La-7 and Yak-3. I wouldn't expect any additional planes.

 Right, but, bro i am talking about planes that are in Russian History museum right now ? so i am not requesting something weird out of history.

 

 I know and understand there is no map now for those late red fighters, of course i know because started in ester front and now we are in west, good, so my concern was what about that part are missing ? what is the plan?  Are like abandoned .

 

 No, but now i know about some changes are coming, so i hope to see all good things and not only one side ones.

  Or to Normandie Niemen the same, there is nothing about that Yak3 ?  wow, that Y9 on the picture, ?

There are many parts missing. How about France 1939/1940, Battle of Britain, Battle of Italy, Battle of Africa... For the first two of those, we even kind of have a map. Not perfect ones, but good enough to fly at least a few historical missions if we had the correct aircraft. Late-war eastern front is not any more "abandoned" than the other fronts.

 

In fact, once the Finland and Odessa maps and all announced collector aircraft are released, one could argue that the eastern front is the best represented, with almost continuous combat possible from mid-1941 to mid-1944, with historically correct aircraft types.

Even if museum aircraft are available, building a 3d model, flight model etc. is a huge job. With their main development effort focused on Korea, they've got to make choices about which aircraft they still make for the current game. Like it or not, but it's unlikely we'll ever see anything late-war eastern front besides perhaps the semi-announced Yak-3 and La-7. The reasons are given above.

Kozhedub had about three quarters of his kills in the La-5, La-5F and La-5FN, all of which are available in the game.

Similarly, the Normandie-Niemen regiment had about 2/3 of their kills in the Yak-1 and Yak-9, which are already available in the game, and the rest in the Yak-3, which is coming.

 

In both cases, the major issue in re-creating historical missions is not the lack of aircraft but the lack of a proper map.

I don't see what this has to do with anything besides being an ill-construed attempt at a strawman, but no. I fly everything, but probably 2/3 red. The Mig is my favourite aircraft.

 

Look, you asked "how is it possible" that three late-war Soviet fighters are not in the game. You've since been told that the La-7 is probably coming, as well as the WW2 version of the Yak-3. You've also been given the reasons (the "how it's possible") why we most likely won't see the Yak-3P and Yak-9U. You can get all personal about it, or you can accept reality.

No bro i accept reality, my question here was looking for some info maybe i don't know.

Personal insult? No one here have insulted personal to no one, and i won't do that. 

 

 I asked because is like seems like no one cares something, and by experience , yes also here, but NO, asking what side you flight is not a personal insult, i for example always since the old classic flew in red side, and is not an insult for me neither to the blues, hey what side are you? this or that, that's it!

Everybody knows the La-7 and Yak-9U were operational in WW2 and deserve a spot. (Well, I thought most people - especially fans of Soviet aviation - knew the Yak-3P was a post-Patriotic War aircraft, but hey...).

 

It ist just that some people would like to fly them on a terrain they historically fought the opposition. Where there La-7s and Yak-9Us fighting against Axis aircraft over Kuban? Stalingrad? Moscow? ...Normandy?

 

Btw., I am one of those guys I want a late WW2 Eastern Front module. Not just the planes, I want the map, the missions, the campaign and the planes. Courland, Balkans, Carpathians, Seelow Heights if necessary...

I will settle for the planes but I want the module. Too bad I won't be getting it any time soon. That happens.

 

Also, the Pe-3 is very high on my list, but it may not be glorious enough for some, so again: too bad for me.
