No just a mission pack

with different radio chatter,effects,skins,you can set up your own channel map missions if you use vanders quick mission generator

Unsolicited praise: I've just stared going through the missions in this Mod ( I'd usually reserve BoB missions for CloD VR( where really big formations of Luftwaffe aircraft show up, )but having a few problems with gameplay have  me fling GB more consistently. Imagine my surprise when I was flying one of your July missions (in a Hurricane squadron against Bf-109's 110's and Ju-87's) and found myself among many many hostile aircraft along with quite a few mates in Spitfires over the English Channel, and my 2 year old PC handling all of this action smoothly ( using OpenComposite that is..) It was a revelation for someone who has owned and played GB since the very beginning- I have never seen so many planes in the air at the same time ( usually not more than 16,) and boy was it fun when I got out of the main rumble to chase down a 110. Thankyou for your Mission Building efforts. I only wish you could add a few more missions and turn these single missions into a Scripted Campaign!

i proberly have a less capable pc so i make them to handle m own pc i have Nvidia Geforce GTX 1660 super,AMDRyzen 3600 x6 core,16 GBmemory,i not have VR,i make with vanders mission generator,when they are furball missions i try take out as many ground objects as possible,ie trains,boats etc

Congratulations JSOflyer! Finally someone left the "sameness of 1944" of Normandy´s map and made a MOD of "Battle of Britain". Great work!

From the looks of things, the Hurricane Mk II collector aircraft and/or Battle of Moscow.

You need battle of Normandy because the channel map is used for most missions,plus battle of Stalingrad and Moscow for use of some planes,also the hurricane collecter plane.

sorry to say the sale has just finished.

we have no Battle of Britain planes but later variants are used in their place

Do I need to install the skins inside the Mod pack manually into the IL-2 skin folder or Does simply adding the mod pack to the MODS folder do it all for me?

Looks great BUT.   I placed entire battle of Britain Missions mod pack in the MODS file. I installed using JSGME. Mission Pack does not show up in Missions Listing. (Note I did paste skins into files separately.)

Should be a folder called Battle of Britain when you go into your missions in game,the JSGME will install everything

So I'm also having trouble with installation. I've tried reinstalling JGSME, I've fixed the file structure so its not in an extra folder, I've tried disabling all other mods, no missions ever show up. If I were to copy the files directly would it overwrite anything critical for other campaigns, or are changes limited to the missions in the pack? I see voice files and presumably there are some changes to the Normandy map.

The missions should show up in a subfolder,there is no scripted campaign just missions,click on missions,click on folder battle of britain,subfolders should show up start on folder prelude to battle click go to missions,follow in order off months read briefings to get general overview of battle

This mod is also not showing up in under Missions.  Re-installed / unzipped into my MODS folder and let JGSME enable it -- but nothing shows up.  (for reference, I own BON, BOM and the Mk II Hurricane collector plane.)  Any suggestions?

Did you make sure that there isn't a double folder with the name "Battle of Britain"? It should be one folder named Battle of Britain and inside that folder should be a data folder with the rest of the files inside of that.

anyone is free to make it into a scriptid campaign,i would love to make some dunkirk missions but its right on the edge of the normandy map so i quess it would be a problem,i did enjoy doing the bob missions

It really scratches my BoB itch in BoX.

 

The only problems I've encountered:

• Spawning as a U-2 on the 15th September mission
• No other September missions appearing, despite them being in the missions folder.

I’ve said it before but I really like this mod campaign- i only wish there were more missions or perhaps separate Luftwaffe and RAF versions. With the CLoD BoB missions and careers now limited while VR is being worked on ,this is especially true for me.Of course the cannon equipped Spitfire V is a bit misplaced, but I can live with that- there is even a mod that replaces the damage of the cannons with what 303’s do…

I hope they do a Battle of Britain module in the new series once they are done with the Pacific. I guess that would satisfy everyone with Battle of Britain themed content for 20+ years.

It’s a pity Dunkirk is right at the edge of the map.

we need the airfields concrete runways taken out and airfields converted back to 1940,spitfire mark 1s plus lots other things ( but we have the map ) minus London of course!

so it’s very possible for the future

I need access to the Normandy map textures to black out the concrete runways textures
