Trackir not working properly after screenfreeze restart

I'm hoping someone here can help, Trackir will not light up the camera unless the hat track clips are about 12 inches or less away, move the clips further away and it flickers until nothing lights up. I normally sit about 2.5 feet away.

 

Any help in understanding how to fix, much appreciated.

Found the problem, brightness was set to zero, so fixed now.
