Beware of this Ebay Seller BN880 Who Refurbishes the Warthog 5-Way Mic Switch

This seller BN880 hasn't returned my 5-way Mic switch for my Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle, and will not return any of my messages...My throttle is useless at this time, so I want anyone sending their 5-way switch for refurbishment to be aware of this. Thank you.

It's been resolved, I wasn't getting his messages at all in eBay after asking on his decision with regards to troubleshooting his issue more. (resolved in PM's of DCS forum)

 

I think it was just a case of using email for ebay messages, which doesn't work whatsoever. (yes, very nice of eBay)

Yes, I have messaged the OP about this thread yesterday (on DCS forum PM), since he has received his perfectly working HAT switch 3 days ago.  (He has some other small problem besides the HAT which was upgraded and works very well, and that's why further troubleshooting steps were suggested).

Yes, after 4 months I have received my 5-way hat switch.

Wow 4 months  

took 20 minutes to replace all the micro switches on the hat switch on my work bench. Nice to have tools and google to find the micro switches.

The reason is that he immediately sent it back after it was refurbished, (part of 2).   I got it back under warranty and tested it mechanically/electronically and it was perfectly fine.  So I asked whether he wants to send in some electronic bits from the controller so that i can test everything together and find the real issue.  Meanwhile I never got a SINGLE reply in eBay after that, and the switch was in storage, and I forgot about it too as it's a small transaction/item.  Just assumed he'd write back or decided to do something else and didn't want it.

 

His 2 switches were refurbished and sent back in 1 business day, and when this 1 switch came back under warranty (he accused me of repairing only 1 for some stupid reason), I wrote him back same day it arrived after diags.

 

So the reason he got it back 4 months later, is he didn't send me any messages in eBay on a decision, OR he started replying through email which doesn't work at all in ebay with the ebay generated email addresses.

 

Edit: and the ONLY reason he has his switch back now is that I spotted by accident a thread he made about this on the DCS forums late February, and I reached out to find out what he wants to do.
