Youtch Posted February 12, 2024 Posted February 12, 2024 (edited) Dear community, I am sharing for the first time here a mission that I have been preparing and with which I am having great fun. For your comments and suggestions, as it is my first time building a mission from scratch with the editor. It is very simple and straight to the point into immediate action. I have still not mastered the art of formation for ships and I am struggling to keep small ships to stick together with the big ships, hence I elimated all the small vessels. In this mission I have used the following skins (many thanks to the authors): P38: lr-jpatty38 P47: zz_p-47d-28_roughangel/rf_p47d28_devastatin deb Fw190D9: black tlips fw 190d rufusk/black tlips fw 190d chrisnj Mission description below: ----------------------------- SAVE THE FLEET! You are on intercept course, flying a Fw190D9 with your wingman. You have to intercept these jabos threatening our fleet, before it is too late. The attack will happen in 2 waves: 2 P38s followed by 3 P47s, all fully loaded with bombs. Watch for the P47 Ace providing cover to the jabos! The challenge is to save all the ships. If attacked they will sink fast. There are 3 big tankers/cargos escorted by one destoyer Conditions: Bad weather, early morning, north coast of France. ----------------------------- Some screenshots below: FW190D9 vs USAF Jabos - Save the fleet v0.2.zip Edited February 12, 2024 by Youtch Fixed mistake with 1 P47 attacking too fast 3 2

I find the logic a little bit counter intuitive from times to times, but it is still interesting to be able to create the missions I have always dreamed to fly. Very simple stuff for quick hollywood action.
Youtch Posted February 12, 2024 Author Posted February 12, 2024 (edited) I made a mistake and copied the wrong file version. Upon testing it, I realized one of the P47 was heading straight on to the bombing, leaving no opportunity to intercept it before. This has now been corrected, please use last version v0.2 I apologize for the mistake, if you had already downloaded the file. Edited February 13, 2024 by Youtch
