Dupxo Posted January 29, 2024 Posted January 29, 2024 Hello, Short description of problem/bug: When plane loses its wings (and other parts) they become visible as normally attached to fuselage again when the destroyed plane passes certain distance from player view. The situation is always present for every plane and in every game mode. In my opinion it affects gameplay in some way because sometimes i think that it is "normal" plane but then it just smashes the ground and after that i am certain that it is (was) destroyed aircraft. Screenshots to help understand the issue: On screenshots we can see destroyed Albatros D.Va (in red circle) which lost all its wings. However after it passed some distance it again looks like normal plane with all its wings etc. Proposition of the solution: Changing the value of the parameter which is responsible for changing destroyed plane's visual mode after passing distance from player's view. If it is not going to happen (because optimalisation thing blablabla) AND this parameter is not hard-coded and can be modded ?, I would ask you to give us the localisation of this parameter (or parameters) so everybody could adjust this as he desires.

Dupxo Posted January 30, 2024 Author Posted January 30, 2024 Thanks for fast answer. Ok, so it is a feature not bug and it is not going to change in near future or cannot be modded?
1CGS LukeFF Posted January 30, 2024 1CGS Posted January 30, 2024 Correct, it's working as intended, so no changes to the system are planned right now. 1
Dupxo Posted January 30, 2024 Author Posted January 30, 2024 That is quite sad information. Maybe it is just me, but IMO this feature is quite unnecessary and "immersion breaking". Same thing with pilots and gunners bodies disappering after only 15 seconds, but at least that strange feature was very easy to mod.
