#10017 it wont allow me to play online

I'm unable to connect to ***any*** of the multiplayer servers. The client freezes on the "Downloading files..." dialog until I have to kill the process using the Task Manager. If I click the Cancel button my entire PC locks up and I have to restart my PC. If I wait long enough it will eventually show the #10017 error message. I have opened ports 28000 and 28100 (TCP/UDP). I have deleted all files in the dogfight folder, although the only file that is created is <mission>.list, and it's null length (0 bytes). I have also allowed IL-2.exe through the firewall and tried completely disabling the firewall. I would appreciate it if you could assist me in fixing my issue, as I'm unable to play on any multiplayer servers.
