New to FC vol 1: How to get my flight controls to do anything at all?

Apparently there is no user manual for Flying Circus: Right? <====

I'm brand new to all IL-2. The only module  I own is Flying Circus vol1.

I start a free flight and none of my controllers do anything. I see the ingame menu but it just asks if I want to use "mouse" or "joystick". I see nothing at all about how to put ailerons and elevator onto my TM Warthog stick, nor how to put throttle onto my Warthog throttle. Nor how to map the rudder to my Thrustmaster TPR Pendular pedals.

(I have been using all of these controllers in Microsoft Flight Simulator for years, no problem).

Is there some sort of manual or help which shows how to map commands to my HOTAS controllers? <========

Manuals are here in the forum;

Basically, start the sim, go to Settings, select Plane Controls, Engine Controls, Weapon Controls, etc. to set your controllers up.

Also recommend getting Discord up and running. Getting another player on voice chat who is able to help will help get all the controls you need and get you a jump start on the basics of flying.

When I go to that link and click on either FAQ icon, then I get this:

" the file is no longer stored on MediaFire. This occurs when the file is removed by the originating user or MediaFire. "

Therefore, I cannot read and cannot download either FAQ (MediaFire tells me that they no longer have these FAQs).

Does anyone know how I can get these 2 FAQ's ?

The main Operator's Manual has now been uploaded to the original post over there.
