JGSME changing startup configs

As the title suggests I have 2 configs one for VR the other for Delanclip (2d) i usually just copy paste from a folder but read soemwhere you can use JGSME ..which i just installed ..Can anyone show me how i can use it to change the startup configs ?

When you installed JSGME it created a folder labeled MODS in your main IL-2 folder (where you see bin, data, gui, etc).  Since the startup.cfg is in the data folder, you'll need to create two folders in the MODS folder with the tree structure.  Example:

 

StartupVR/data/startup.cfg (the one you created for VR), and

StartupDelan/data/startup.cfg (the one you created for the Delan clip)

 

When you open JSGME it will show those two folders in the left side (called Available Mods).  Just select one or the other and hit the arrow key to move it to the right side (called Active Mods).

 

I've never seen anyone changing out the startup.cfg so I can't say if there will be any problems doing this, but it seems like it should work as JSGME is just duplicating what you were doing manually.
