Hotas, joystick work erratically offline

I’m using a Thrustmaster 16000 joystick/throttle and a Worthog hotas . Combination has worked fine since last spring and still does online in the multiplayer servers. When I play offline the throttle works for a few seconds then goes to 100% or 0. Same with engine rpm. The buttons controlling radiators don’t work, sometimes I lose joystick input. Really strange. Started a few days ago. Any guesses on what to do?

I noticed this with my honeycomb throttle as well 

check your setting and see to it you do not have cruise control enabled if you use custom on difficulty. That fixed the weird movement for me but I still get problems with some spiky tendencies. Honeycomb bravo might not be as good as I thought.

I did an uninstall/ reinstall and it worked. Two tries.
