Plane owned : does it still work?

Hello,

 

I've selected only the aircraft I own and the campaign generator still offers me to create campaigns with aircraft I don't have. Is this normal? In my memory, it didn't display campaigns/squadrons using aircraft I didn't own. Can anyone help me? Am I wrong somewhere?

 

(I especially want to use this function to choose only the planes we have in common with a friend, so I can then choose a suitable co-op campaign)

the only thing planes owned is used for is to make sure that you are not flying a plane that you do not own in a generated mission.  getting into a squadron that does not have an owned plane is fine as you can always make an equipment request.
