Which graphics card for CoD and Tank crew?

Hi all,

 

I used to play the original il2 and loved it! Now I'm loving the look of cliffs of dover and the kursk add on to BoS.

 

Looking tog etc a new gamer laptop but which graphics card is best?

 

RTX3050 or RTX4050. 3050 is obviously cheaper but if it won't run the games at high graphics is 4050 the best option?

The updated CLIFFS OF DOVER - BLITZ/DESERT WINGS - TOBRUK, (CLIFFS series) and the BOS series are two different game systems.

 

We can't speak for BOS here.

 

CLIFFS generally works better with NVidia cards, so your idea is generally a good one.

 

I would recommend you compare the two cards you are thinking of at one of the sites for hardware out there... the specifics are discussed in detail.

 

Regarding CLIFFS, having a good CPU is even more important, as is having a lot of good quality RAM.

Sadly 32gb is out of range but 16gb will hopefully suffice. Would a 12th gen i5 be ok you recon? Or should I go to i7?

16Gb RAM will work. A 12th gen Intel will scream through CloD. GPU could have 12Gb or more memory on it. A good site to check out hardware reviews is for example Guru3D. They use quite a few games and apps for testing.
