Xbox Controller - Camera Controls

Reposting as I didn't post in the right spot the first time...  ?

 

Wondering if anyone can assist... I have programmed the controller following the recommendations from another post, but I have not been able to get the camera control to work on my right thumbstick. I can move the camera with my mouse no problem but when I load in the W & S axes for the right thumbstick on the same fields as the mouse it doesn't work. I know the controller works fine with other games. I must be missing something within ROF? Every other button mapping that I did works fine and I am at a loss. Thanks in advance.

I don't think the right thumbstick works well with camera, though using a generic controller (no hasstle with drivers). It spins either too fast one setting, another setting maybe free camera it moves like 5 miles left or right, up takes me above the clouds and down takes me to the grass. I just left it at that, but the right button thumbstick that clicks works, I use that to lower throttle.

 

I just use d pad left and right to look left and right. D pad up to inside cockpit. D pad down I do not use or need.

 

I did use a hotas controller with il2 1946 many years ago spent £90 Saitek X52 Hotas Flight Controller System Joystick

 

did not like it, now I just use my generic unless force feedback works then I use Xbox 360 controller. But I am happy to use my generic as many of these flight Sims do not use force feedback.

 

But back to your question the mouse settings cannot be translated to X and y axis. But I will try today.
