Thank you very much, PatrickAWlson, for your creation and your continuous efforts to make it even better.

My squad mates and me are enjoying a really nice competitive campaign.

 

At the moment, we are about 24 pilots flying everyweek the campaign, and what I have done to manage is create a new avatar everytime the previous avatar is killed in action, for every pilot. For example, PlayerNameOne is the first avatar for PlayerName (my squad mate), and if his avatar is kia, then I will create a new avatar named PlayerNameTwo.

 

I can see all pilots in chalkboard by changing font size, but it is impossible with roster pilots, so I can't verify all of them.

 

Is there a chance to show only active pilots (not retired, not kia, not captured) in both, chalkboard and roster?

I mean, using an optionbutton as in "player pilots", "top aces", "pilots", ... just to show player active pilots?

I need a better understanding of your use case, so, some questions?

Are all 24 player pilots in the same sqiuadron?

Which screen are you looking at?  The primary chalk board should have only active squadron pilots ... although it is not designed for 24 pilots in one squadron.   I don't recall any pages other than top aces where dead or incapacitated pilots show up.

Thank you for your answer, I will try to explain better.

We are 24 pilots, 12 in blue side and 12 in red side, each of them with two different squads; fighter and attack.

So it is 6 german fighter, 6 german attack, 6 soviet fighter and 6 soviet attack.

 

In main screen you can see a chalkboard with names (users and AIs) from the squad of the reference pilot.

At your right, you can see the Roster (names and photos, an acces to every pilot log, medals, etc) for the same unit.

On top, you can change what is shown in both sides (chalkboard and roster), by selecting diferents option buttons. This is the way I can select all player pilots, and everyone (all 24 active avatars plus all their dead avatars) are shown in both sides.

While we are so many people, I only can see all pilots in chalkboard by reducing fontsize (in configuration parameters GUI, previous to select the campaign), but I can not reduce the size of roster, and so I can not enter in some pilot's log because this is the only way I found to do so.

 

I think I can delete from json all non active avatars, but my question is if there is (or will be) another less invasive solution, like adding an option button for only active player pilots (on top of the main screen of the campaign, close to other option buttons like player pilots, top aces, ...).

Another solution could be with scrollbars, but I really don't know how complex and usefull could be, attending to only one exception like this one.
