C6_Geo Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 Hi, i support the Lt/col William James Daley Grave in France and i'll be greatfull if you can tell me more about his history. I have already a lot of basic info and some pictures. I know he was at the 121 eaghle squadron on spitfire in 1941, after at the 335th fighter squad in 1942 and at the 371st fighter bomber group on p47 (9th AF). He was dead in a P47 crash (he land safe at the airfield but another p47 collides him.... i 'm in touch with a guy who recolorized pictures and we wonder what Y/Y means on the nose of the spitfire (on the oil trap?)
